Hey guys, I am having the same sorts of problems as the poor bloke in this thread http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=152178and really having some of the same sort of feelings, as I have only had the car since January, but being my first LS1, she has been driven fairly "enthusiastically"
It is just downright depressing to drive at the moment, I have to give it some stick just to change it from first to second, otherwise it will just surge in first gear and its surging higher and higher. If I drive it sedately it will surge in 1st gear up to about 4k and then change hard into second. I would love it to be something stall/torque converter related but my luck never runs that way it seems.
Anyways I know the auto needs some serious attention, I see that there is Sureshift Autos @ Virginia, it's just that I am on the southside of Brisbane. I am also looking for any personal recommendations/experiences to and thanks in advance for any help!
