hi guys, I have a question about removing my heads. Propably sounds silly but I know there is a pattern to follow when torqueing heads down, But was wondering if there is also a pattern when removing them aswell?....I have searched but have only found what to do when replacing them not removing them....cheers..

Yep reverse the installation torque pattern just to be safe.

Not really, but if you want start in the middle and undo it all evenly

Loosening is opposite to tightening. This will help avoid distortion of the mating surfaces since they are both the same material. Cast iron block alloy head doesn't matter so much
