I've just received some new struts which I'll be replacing on the weekend. But I notice the bottom spring saddle/perch is seperate & seems to not fit to easily..
Does anyone know if this need to be hammered on or is there some other technique ?

What are they for and what brand? front rear?

can't say i've seen any that look like that.

Gday, these are the front struts for a BMW E46 3 series.. They look similar to my SS...

similar isnt the same.......

id be ordering the correct struts/shocks for your car, the last thing you want it your suspension failing on you

Haha , think there's some confusion, I meant ,they look similar to my SS shocks but they are actually going onto a BMW E46 which they are made for..
