Noisy gearbox

I have a 2007 ve clubsport 6m and when ever I change gears it's followed by a rattling sound along with a bit of a clunking sound, as if something is loose underneath the car. It usually occurs from 1st up until third gear then in the higher speeds it's not noticeable. It does it no matter how smoothly I let my foot off the clutch

Any ideas? The car is under warranty and I am taking it to get checked out when I get home from work next week but the dealer already seems to think it is a normal sound. Just hoping someone here has had a similar issue and what the fix was for it.

Have this problem on my VZ SS, Take off slight rattle only 1st and 2nd then ok. Mechanic says all normal as went from dual mass flywheel to a singleplate one. But it's doing my head in, might take it to another for a second opinion.

do you have an after market exhaust? It could be rattling on something i know some 4 into 1s rattle

Did it with the stock exhaust, and still does it with aftermarket.
