My dad is starting up a new business called (Lakes Vehicle Transport) and has been trying to design a business logo himself. Unfortunatly he has been trying to do it in Paint as he doesnt know a whole lot about computers.
I was hoping if I put a copy of what he has got up on here some of you guys may be able to work your photoshop magic and come up with something a lot better?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, let me know if you would like me to post a picture of what he has come up with.

Thanks guys

Hi Garry, I work on high street in northcote so I am there every day unfortunately. The ss doesn't like it to much, drinking fuel like there is no tomorrow round there! Lol

if u wanna send me a pm i can make a better concept, else have fun with my concepts... quick train of thought, the L in lvt lends itself to a L shape of a flat bed truck (in a graphic sense)??

I got some business card made up and the people that did then did the log for me for a extra $45. Got 1000 business card with logo and business card desin for $145 delivered. Mob on ebay but there is cheaperon and off ebay too. Seemed to do a reasonable job. Nothing flash, simple and effective. They did a heap of stickers too.

Quick one before I head off to the gym:

http://members.iinet.net.au/~koffee/forums/LAKES.jpg

The truck was from some chineese USB memory stick picture on google images - didn't appear to have any copyright - I edited it a bit (colour + remove text).

If you want it I can email the PSD file.

Happy to change some of the colours around if you want - just make some suggestions or play around with it in paint and repost it - I can touch up in Photoshope as it has blended colours etc.. :)

Hi Guys, it was a business card he has been designing. I like some of the ideas on here, his is just way to busy in my opinon. However this is what he has put together and be kind he is not great with computers and has done it with PAINT.

Although that is a pretty good paint effort, looks cheap and tacky IMO.

Spend the money and get them done properly, will make people take the business more seriously. Hopefully will pay for themselves quickly!

Good luck!

I had mine done with VP. There are nice designs and a tow truck on page 1.

Will deliver to your door. Also if you get a logo done, can simply upload it to your cards.
