Has anyone dealt with this business in the past? I bought and paid for a set of carpets over a month ago and still have not recieved them. Every time I ring, they either dont answer, or if they do I get told it has been sent with Auspost and will arrive shortly (no tracking number). Was apparently sent nearly 2 weeks ago. I am starting to think they are just bullshitting me, hopefullly I am wrong. I thought it was odd to send a $180 item without a tracking number if not insurance?

Did you have any insurance with it. Aust post covers items lost up to $200 normally , i think if sent with registered post..

I have used Tru Fit, and Knox carpets as well. Both provide good quality carpets but do not cut the edges to size, nor cut out gear stick holes or seat belt holes. Their excuse is that everyone has a different gearbox and seats! Makes no sense to me and added at least two hours to the fit job. I would also have preferred the edges to be sown to avoid loose threads. Both firms are a pain I reckon. Knox reckon they supply/supplied to Holden/Ford etc, but there is no way that the assembly line would fit carpets by hand trimming.

Pics of finished product would be nice.

Yeah - I've gone through the same pain... If you want to stop the edges from fraying, just run a cigarette lighter over them.

I dealt with and purchased a couple of sets of custom mats for my old VU, about 2yrs ago. Quality was great. Perfect fit, well trimmed.
The downfall was definitely in service and delivery time.

I ended up waiting over about 6mths (cant remember exactly how long now) with very little in the way of excuse or apology. In fact when the first set arrived, they were wrong. But this was fixed up pretty quickly.

Overall the product was great, but just dont order something if you need them in a hurry

I will keep this simple. The carpet itself seems to be ok quality wise. The fit was terrible. We had to make a huge cut in the front section to get it up past the dash where is meets the floor (this included cutting the sown over end section). As mentioned in an above post, all holes had to be put in, including seats, this was a bitch of a job. The right rear had a piece sown in, which still did not reach far enough to go under the passenger side rear door trim (my wife ended up shoving an offcut under so you couldn't see the white painted floor). Took myself, my wife and 9 year old son nearly 5 yours to fit. I rang them when we realised that the carpet needed some severe cutting near the dash and they seemed confused and said they would ring back in an hour, needless to say they did not ring back (that is when I got the stanley knife out). The finished product does look ok (sits a little high in places). Big test will be how it wears I guess. Would I deal with them again, ABSOLUTELY NOT.
