finally got my brakes fitted... major issue is i cant drive\test them cause of my bike crash. (got a mate to come with me to pick it up).

Ended up with AP Racing 6/4 pot from the states. Thread here (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=152272)
here are some photos i took of the car in the drive way.

after much $$ spent found out i need a new diff... diff's leaking and clunks badly when 400ml's of oil is missing.. plus 2 new tail shafts... theres about 2k-ish gone soon. (plus harrop sports diff cover on top of that).

Either fix it soon (not much money left) or just top it up every month until can afford to fix it.

but here are the photos of brakes :):):):)
ps, cars dirty and thats a HDR effect with the 4 photos. it did it when i changed it from 32bit to 8 bit to save in jpeg. (ops)

Nice work. I always recommend people fit better than standard brakes (and tyres for that matter) to Commodore's, and you can't go much better than these.
Enjoy the benefits of them once you are better. :)

Nice mate, but if the vents are in the same direction as the slots then the disks are on the wrong way around. Some manufacturers slot their disks in the opposite direction to the vents though, so they might be right :)

Thanks, just have to get new front tires. Mine suck, lol

And I'm sure Murat at Marranos fitted them correctly.

Besides the diff I can't wait for super sprints next year.
Will post something up when I actually go for a drive

now u have me very curious.... are the actually vents ment to suck air from the front of the car? (the direction of the spin?)

will have a look tomorrow

The airflow is designed to enter at the hub and be expelled outwards by centrifugal force. The pic below would be for the right hand side of the car for example :)

If this disk was fitted on the left hand side, the "scooping" effect of the vents would begin to counter that of the centrifugal force, decreasing the velocity of the air and thus decreasing the cooling efficiency :)

the vents should be fanning air out from the centre, so the vents should slop the to the front of the car at the middle of the hub out to the back of the car at the out edge of the disc.
