permit for turbo ls1 wa??

hey all

Im currently looking at a vy ss for sale with a single turbo kit in qld for sale my question is i live in wa if i buy it can it be permited if running a small cam??has anyone on this forum done it and where did they go etc??

Ive spoken to mitch on this about 2 years ago when looking at this route in my VE, at the time they had to do the IM240 test and after speaking to him what he told me is if the engine was stock minus turbo kit and you had stock extractors and cats then it can be done. Now i dont think they have to do this im240 test as its just wayyy to expensive and i think you can get away with a 5gas test which i have had a mate get a big cam (230/240) passed this test. I think if you will need to change anything it will be your cats and possibley extractors but ring mitch.
