Hi all,
How much clearance is everyone getting that are running aftermarket Headers/Cats/Exhaust? I just got some high flow cats fitted, and I don't think I'm going to get much mileage out of them as they hang lower than my stock cats (which scraped occasionally).
If anyone can post their pics with their setup and tell what issues they have (if any) it would be much appreciated

Have Difilippo 1 3/4 4 into 1s and difilippo 3 inch cats on a VY that sits very low and have not had a problem. Never really heard them touch at all. What extractors/cats/system are you running?

I'm running a complete xforce exhaust system and measured the lowest point being the cats at 85mm of the ground.
It's not to bad but wouldn't mind if they did sit alittle bit higher.

I'm just running a cat-back 2.5" and got done for the cats sitting at 80mm.
Took it to my local exhaust shop and they managed to get it a full 35mm higher by messing about with it and now it doesn't scrap nearly half a much
Total cost: $80

I'm running a twin 2.5" exhaust, HM headers attached to the stock downpipe. The hi flow cats I got installed are 2.5" inlet/outlet. The clearance is about 65mm from the bottom of the cats. I will post a picture soon.
I wonder if I could get the downpipe chopped so the cats can get raised a bit?

I was running a full Difilippo system, and I had issues with the system straight up, I never had an issue with the x-force system I had prior, but now I have APC headers, they sit atleast an inch higher than the difilippo ones, and am having less issues with them, just need to change the supports for the exhaust itself and I will be a lot happier, APC have made some relly nice headers for me though, check out my 2" headers thread to see what they can do.

Rob Bliss at Geebung, I've taken my last 3 cars to them exclusively and they haven't let me down yet. Close to the train station as well so you can get into the CBD (if you work there).
Aaron Bliss is a very knowledgeable fellow and doesn't dish you out the sales BS.
