I was gonna say relay.
Maybe something to do with the alarm?

You might need to put one of those stickers on your car - Horn not working watch for finger. I don't know specifics of WH/ VX type wiring, but generally with horn there is a single wire to the horn pad. The horn pad when pressed puts an earth on the wire. Try momentarily connecting the horn wire to earth. If the horn doesn't go then try the same thing back at the horn relay (on the wire that goes to the horn pad). If the relay operates, but the horn doesn't then the problem is between the relay and the horn itself. Ideally you could use a multimeter or a simple test lamp to check for voltages at various places eg at horn pad, at relay etc. A wiring diagram would make it easier to work out wiring colour codes and functions. You also need to be careful what you are around the dash given airbags etc.

Turned out to be a faulty relay on an aftermarket alarm
