Please help. Will 17" interceptor rims fit over VE V8 Calais brakes?
And where do 17" interceptors come from? Are they a Holden product? I thought interceptors only came in 15" & 16".

wtf? only ford do 17" interceptors, diff bolt pattern.

there are 18" on US spec caprice police cars, but impossible to get.

Yes holden have 17" interceptor rims as i have two sitting at home. They should fit as i have them on the back of my car clearing the VE HSV brakes

Ls2 - are they a little small been only 7" wide. Could only fit a 235

Yea they are mainly for powercruise and motorvation. But have another set here which im getting widened to a 10" rim so i can fit decent rubber on it

I was told you need to use two rims to make one and there still not sure you can get them over 8". Which shop is doing the work?

ill be using either cronic customs or a mate of mine got his widened to 10" so ill ask him where he went and find out and post it up.

You could also look at Summerfield engineering they do widening on steelies :)

Nah no idea but OUTAtheBloo is getting some done soon so maybe ask him although only 15's getting done, but the price shouldn't be much different

ajax wheels in melb charge $115 for fitting of new outers to steel rims if you supply in the inner (how much my 15x4's were). or $150 for whole rim. they get the steel outers and inners direct from ROH. so they don't cut and shut them.

Not a prob mate hows the car going :)

All going sweet drew. Just getting the final tune put on next week as the last tune was shocking and had mechanical issues with it but all sorted now and a few little bits and pieces getting added to it :) almost ready to hit the track now i got 17" stockies to fit over the HSV brakes so got a bit more of choice in tyre to use
