Here for sale is my pride and joy.
Due to a new business venture this vehicle needs to be sold and am doing so very regretfully.
This vehicle has given me much joy throughout my life and it saddens me to have to let it go.
This vehicle was purchased brand new from the showroom floor and I have owned it ever since.
It has proven itself to be a very reliable car with zero breakdowns.
The vehicle has never been abused and driven very easily 99.5% of the time.
When I purchased this vehicle, my aim was to enhance it in all key areas to the best it could be without sacrificing it's road comfort or its driving manner. This was done over time.
The end result was a car, that had a tonne of power, excellent braking performance, fantastic handling and balance and an excellent ride.
The stereo system was also upgraded and the sound is brilliant with high volume levels and clarity.
All the work was done by my mechanic who is also a suspension engineer and he is the person to speak to about my vehicles upgraded components and reliability.
Here is a list of the modifications that have been done:

Castor bushes
Steering Bush
Sub-frame and K-frame bushes
Adjustable upper rear bushes and rear outers

Alpine V12 mono amplifier for subwoofer
Kicker subwoofer in factory box
Pioneer multi-media DVD and touchscreen unit with ipod/iphone connection
VY II calais rear lights
20% carbon black window tint

Im quite sure that is everything but it is possible that I may have missed a few minor things.

Thousands and thousands have been spent on these modifications and all these high quality parts were very expensive as I only believe in fitting the best as you can never be too safe.

With all these modifications this car performs superior to most cars purchased today.
On the road this car feels superb, with super responsive steering, excellent front end and road feel along with super responsive braking.
The brakes will take some getting used to as they are very strong and bite unlike anything you have experienced and due to the suspension upgrades, gone is the usual soggy feeling in the brake pedal that the VZ models were renowned for. Instead, you have a firm responsive pedal that requires very little effort to stop.
To give you an idea on the performance of the brakes, an example: The optional 6 piston brake option from HSV for the VZ model was rated at stopping in 36m from 100-0. Now, that is on a standard VZ HSV model.
My calipers are the next size up which also are 50% more rigid in the construction and the pistons are a staggered pattern which ensures minimal braking effort, more force and even pad wear.
These calipers require a 19" wheel mininum to fit. I estimate the car would stop from 100-0 in 30 metres in it's current state. When I tested the gforce of these brakes they produced a whopping 1.44G on my previous yokohama tyres (which have less grip than the michelins) with a consistent 1.15G with repeated stops.
They have huge stopping power.
The handling of this vehicle is also something to be admired.
It has excellent turn in with zero body roll and so much grip that its very difficult to break traction.
You will also notice the large yellow front anti-roll bar in the brake picture.
The car is setup to be more bias to over-steer than under-steer as this improves cornering performance and transforms the handling characteristics of the vehicle.
On the freeway lane changing is a breeze. With the smallest turn of the steering overtaking is done so quickly from lane to lane with zero roll with maximum control.
Even at the limit, the car always remains flat with no hint of roll. The corner entry speeds almost defy physics and make you think your driving a much smaller and lighter vehicle.
This car also does not have any tyre wear issues in the rear end or at the front and because of these suspension upgrades, the chasis is so much stable and there is minimal movement and therefore keeps everything rock solid.
The vehicle was also recently fitted with a brand new set of the michelin pilot super sport tyres and these tyres have improved the car's performance again.
Basically, everything has been done to the suspension with nothing left to touch.
Most importantly, this car has an EXCELLENT ride. It glides over the bumps so well that only very large bumps are felt slightly. Those that have been in my car always are amazed at how smooth it rides.
Now to the engine.
The engine has a fantastic note to it. It sounds quite deep and menacing on the outside but inside the vehicle it is actually quiet with little exhaust noise and with ZERO drone.
The idle would be described as aggressive but not lumpy.
My aim with this exhaust system was to have maximum flow with zero restriction while having it as quiet as possible. This was delivered.
On the highway and at cruising speeds the exhaust is factory like in its quietness.
This vehicle also has 450kw and 900Nm torque and should satisfy most performance enthusiasts.
The acceleration rate is brutal and quick with an approximate 0-100 time in under 4 seconds and an expected 1/4 mile time in the 11 second bracket.
To get all this power down the eaton tru-trac differential is up to the task.
It is so much smoother than the factory differential in it's power delivery and traction levels.
Power transfer literally goes un-noticed and with those michelin tyres, really helps harness the car's power.
In wet weather traction is also very high.
This differential can handle over 600KW power so is built to last for many years to come.
The audio system performance is also very high and has to be heard to appreciate how good the sound is.
The car also sits just on legal height.

Overall, this car is a bargain in terms of what it has to offer with so much attention to detail and quality of components it has installed.
The parts are a no compromise approach and have only fitted the very best.
It is very safe, very quick, and the braking matches if not surpasses the car's acceleration.
It also will come with two keys and the standard ls2 engine cover.
There is no other car like it in that model range. It is a great colour and has a great eye catching design that attracts looks from a lot of people.
This car will suit an enthusiast who will take care of it, and maintain it and give it the treatment it deserves and keep the paint shining like new like I have done.
Once you have driven this vehicle and experienced what it offers you will fully understand why it is worth it's price.

Genuine enquiries only please.
If you are interested in this vehicle you are welcome to contact me to discuss it and arrange a time for you to inspect it.
The price is 45,000 ONO.
All reasonable offers considered.
Strictly no tyre kickers or test pilots.
For pictures, please email me and I will send you various pics of the exterior, interior, brakes, and the engine.

I have also received questions regarding the price of the VE HSV being near the price I am selling my vehicle.
To answer the question requires one to use their brain to look at what each car is offering.
To bring a standard VE to the same level as mine will require a huge expenditure of funds.
If you buy one for example for 50,000 you will need to spend at least 30K plus to bring it up to the same level.
On both vehicles, the standard components are nothing special. Better than your normal sport components but not by much.
Then you have all the body roll in corners with loads of under steer and along with too soft a ride and very restricted power outputs, etc.
All these unpleasant characteristics have been eliminated from my vehicle and after driving my vehicle then driving my friends E3 hsv, the VE feels very underdone in all areas with lower limits and a lot of body roll and is much slower too especially in top end acceleration.
This is the expected result with my vehicle having far superior components and 200kg less weight.
The VE is a better balanced vehicle at the limits with a 51/49 ratio but still has more weight up front than the previous VZ model.
With my vehicle, it is 100% completely re-done with nothing left to touch in the suspension, engine, brakes, and the audio system.
I have spent the big money to turn it into what it is and now it is time for someone else to enjoy it at a fraction of the cost.
It is stated in the description that this vehicle suits an enthusiast more so than your average driver.
I hope this answers the question well enough for those that put the focus on price rather than on function and features.
If you want a VE, go and get one. I'm not stopping you :)
Please do not ask me such questions or state facts I already know.
For those that are genuinely interested and have questions to ask, you are welcome to contact me and I will respond as soon as possible.
Thank-you
