Well got a V8 Supercar experience at Eastern Creek for my 40th today..:)


Also got the rally experience as well..

I did one for my 21st, was bloody awesome fun, 8 laps went way too fast though

arent they just a street V8 just with slicks and interior stripped out

Hi.
Did this last year,it was a reall buzz,2x6laps and 220kph coming into turn 1. I had no track experience at all prior to this. Boy they really do handle and hang on and brake,you'll have a ball guaranteed. spun the orange car out on lap 3 turn 2 as I was accelerating out ,really came around quick and backed it off the circuit,both or hearts were pumping.Just some picks to whet yor appetite.

brakes and suspension upgrades are the biggest changes.

we all know hp is only good for some much on a track. braking late and flowing through the corners is where the fun is :)

i've done it before at calder and had a ball.

i'm doing the drive events day in 4 weeks at phillip island in my own car which i'm hanging for. dunno how good the 20's and stock hsv brakes will go then. :) the blower should move me down the straight pretty well tho

Hi.
I would agree with that,it really did'nt pin your ears back anywhere on the circuit but was quoted as having 450hp,just a 6ltr with a tune I reckon.But the Slicks/handling/brakes mean't you had a much higher terminal speed around the circuit.I had the chance earlier this year to take my 600hp road car to Eastern creek and blast around as quick as you dare bearing in mind you had to drive it home as well. Down the main straight the best I could get was 200khp before turn 1 braking. It just did'nt feel comfortable or stable in the corners so my terminal speed suffered although in a straight line or for that matter any straight it would have shamed the v8max car in outright acceleration and the ability to just push you back into the seat at every oppourtunity. Glad I did both.
