Personally i think the XR6T looks fantastic. Imagine the size of the intercooler your could fit behind that grill (which doesnt look great in that pic, but looks ok in the brochure). Cant wait to see what FPV can do with it... But that matched with the coyote V8 is a damn good combination and very hard to beat. Well done ford.

That said, would you complain that the new falcon looks a little bit like one of the best looking cars of all times? I means thats the same as criticizing your mates new girlfriend for looking a little bit too much like jessica alba. While it may be true, i dont think its a bad thing.

I really like the XR6T as well, but again, the drawings of these things seem to always look so much better than IRL

Yep and that is what makes them - especially the G6E/ET - so good looking. I'm still weighing up my options on a lease car next year and these will be on the test-drive list.

Looks great. The brochure makes the XR6T look like it's sitting really high though :hmmm:

Even the standard XT looks pretty tough. Too bad there's no XR8 anymore, that body shape, grill and Ford V8 "hump" would make for one mean looking car.

Like what they've done with the 8" screen and proper gadget integration. A CarPC Modder's dream :D

I should have posted a picture of the new Territory as well as there is some similarities there as well.

Doesn't look too bad at all. Only thing Ford doesn't do is change rim style all that much. That is one easy way to give new models a real lift. All in all they still have a good package. Really suprised they don't sell in larger volumes to be honest.

On a side-note, the 2011 Territory has an very similar looking front end. Saw an unmarked cop cruising around ballarat in one the other day and reminded me of this thread.

I reckon that the top part of the front is harking back to the AU, and that the lower grill is too busy.

The best looking modern Falcon still has to be the BA XR series.

I always found that the hump on the FG XR8 bonnet looked like a penis in side profile!

Definitely an improvement, I like it. My main criticism of the FG is that it is boring from some angles and badly proportioned from others - this won't fix the dullness of the rear end or the mess that the rear door area still is, but it's much better than the current look.

Really loving the new style of the falcon,they seem to be getting better with each new model lately.

I think they've made the 8 inch colour screen as standard for XR models, as well as reverse sensors, side air bags and projector headlights or something.. Previously, premium sound (if you can call it that) was an option that cost a few k!

I think the G6 and G6E got sat nav as a no cost option.

Not sure on all the extras, but that's just a few.
