Hey guys,

Looking to get a set of

19x8.5 +35 front
19x9.5 +40 rear

Want to stretch some Tyres on to fit my Monaro. Suggestions on sizes?

Cheers

Same size wheels that I run on our Monaro.
245/35/19 on the front and 275/30/19 on the rear.

You will need to roll all four guards to get enough clearance and in the end I had 3mm machined off of the back of the back wheels to make them +43.

Agreed. I have the same tire sizes with +35 at front but +45 on the back. rolling the guards will definitely be needed

245/35/19 fronts and 265/30/19 at the back will give you a even look on the profile

Not quite!

275/30/19 is actually slightly smaller in overall height compared to 245/35/19, therefore going down in size to 265/30/19 is going to give you a smaller height rear tyre. Not a good look in my opinion.:lmao:

Tyre Size - Overall Diameter
245/35R19 - 654.05mm
265/30R19 - 641.35mm
275/30R19 - 647.44mm

i think your right so 225/35/19 front with 265/30/19 rears
or even better 235/35/19 fs with 275/30/19 rs
or 245/35/19 fs 285/30/19 rs if the 285 would fit

A little guard manipulation went on and yes they just touched the inner plastic liner on the inside :)

Hi guys, sorry to hijack the thread but I have a mate with a vz Monaro with the stock rims and he wants to know if 265's will fit on the back without any guard manipulation.

They should go, but might be a tight fit, just depends on height etc etc
Maybe get him to go to a tyre place and do a trial run
