Gday

Just a quick question. About to upgrade my standard VE SSv brakes with HSV AP 4 pot calipers. Can anyone tell me if I can reuse the SSv caliper bolts to hold the AP's on? No bolts came with the Ap's as bought second hand:demon:, did a search for this subject and could not find anything.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Cheers Glen

As I recently found out the ssv bolts don't work with brembos all round because the thread pitch is not the same. I would just go and spend $15 for bolts from the dealer or coventrys

same bolts, they will just bolt on. If doing rears you need to trim the dust shield to fit the larger rotors.

The issue with the Brembo's from the readline isn't just the thread pitch they are a larger bolt and the hub holes need to be drilled out.

Just fitted my redline Brembo kit last week with my original bolts.. no probs you just have t re-tap the threads with never seize and wd40 cause calipers are dipped in paint and not re-tapped from manufacture...

Interesting, mates brembo's had larger bolts so we had to drill the hubs out.

the brembos from the US for the chevs have diff bolts and require hubs to be bored, but the brembos from Aus for the redlines have the same size bolts, they are just longer so you can re-use or get the longer ones
