Hey guys, i have found someone selling a ls7 clutch from a 2010 maloo for $150 wondering if you think its worth it or save up and get a brand new one? He said the car only had 10,000ks and it was changed when he had all the work on his car done/

Get a second visual opinion & if looks the goods for $150 would surely be a bargain!!!After all it'll cost way more to have it installed! Especially so if considering new Slave an lines etc!

The clutch could be fine, but it's risky. I bought a second hand clutch for my VZ a few years ago and learnt the hard way. Promised myself that I would never risk it again and just buy new next time. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Cheers

Especially so as I picked up a brand spanking new LS7 clutch off CAPA for around $500 bucks recently...do you really wanna go through the motions on a S/H unit???

If he's had all this work done then he's quite probably flogged the ring out of it until he felt he had to spend more money on even more performance...

Clutch plates etc are designed to wear out with normal use as brake pads are, would you use second hand brake parts?

In my opinion why would you got to the bother with a s/hand clutch....Deals can be found on a good midd to high range clutch

I'd consider it if brake pads cost as much as a good clutch lol.

They do if you buy your HSV E Series pads from Holden.
