hi can someone please tell me why it takes so looonnngg for a post to appear and if this will change in the near future at all?? it can be extremely frustrating when trying to communicate in the classifieds section! thanx

As previously stated a number of times on the forums, the forum is moderated by volunteers. These volunteers have paid jobs that their employers expect them to take care of first before playing around on car forums. Families and other real life issues also take priority over sitting on the forum all day.
The classifieds is simply an additional bonus section that is offered for use to members to clear unwanted used items - it is not the main purpose of this site. Moderation of the rest of the forum (around 500-600 posts per day) also takes priority over approvals to this sections.
Classifieds posts are generally tended at least once every 24hrs, but may go over this if there are extenuating circumstances (busy time of year at work, holidays etc.). The posts in this section need to be vetted for spam, classifieds compliance, and general negative posts designed to hurt someones sale, so it's not a matter of just clicking "Approve All" and getting on with your day, it takes time.
If you want to sell or buy something quickly, I would suggest dedicated classifieds sites like Trading Post, Ebay and Carsales, all of which have staff whose sole job is to tend to your advert (you need to pay their fees though).
The forum PM system or email should generally be used as a primary means of communication of finer details between 2 parties, rather than public posting to the queue. A user such as yourself who has been on the forums for 7 months should have more than 10 posts by now, so there would be no restriction stopping you from using the PM or email system.
