Engine conversion

HI I have recently bought an engine ( L77 I think & gearbox 6L80E) out of 2011 SS wreck and am in the process of doing an engine conversion into SWB GQ patrol has anyone done this before or any advice would be greatly appreciated THANKS

this mas not help...but my mate is doing a ls1 conversion into a gq shorty...maybe give castlemaine rod shop a buzz as thats where my kit come from, had minimal fuss with it...

Hitorque on the gold coast have just done an ls3 conversion into a shorty patrol. YouTube search ls3 patrol

There is a company that specialize in Ls motors into Patrols, I'm sure a google search would find them. I'm sure they have been mentioned on here previously as well, just can't remember the name.
