I'm not usually a Benz fan, but i've gotta say that the new C-class coupe kinda works for me...maybe I should get a diesel one? :)

seems like alot of people are choosing disel of petrol these days due to great fuel economy and decent power.

Just bought a C250 CDI wagon for the missus - AMG pack, plus all the bells and whistles. Drives really well and unlike most Diesels it pulls hard to the 4500rpm redline. Much better than the Audi A4 and 500nm torque makes this thing fly - its not v8 quick but it has huge midrange that makes it feel like a 6 litre and it cruises beautifully - at less than 5L/100km. The 80-120kmh overtaking is very impressive and the fit and finish is unbelievable.
If you are considering a family car then this is defiantly something you need to drive.

Only downside is the 4-5month lead time on a new car - but buying a Merc is very different to buying a Holden or Ford.

yeah i saw this too..id love to test one they really look like a quality bit of kit and finnally a serious merc to suit aussie conditions..
