Compression test as follows (in the video clip at the bottom I filmed myself performing this today):
Cylinder 1: 130
Cylinder 2: 120
Cylinder 3: 135
Cylinder 4: 145

The car is an excellent little brawler. It just needs a couple of pieces of rust cut out and new plates braze welded in (please don't fill with bog). This is a personal opinion, but I feel it needs a new lick of paint. However the matt black certainly attracts a LOT of attention.
The mechanical backbone of the car ensure that this is an excellent example of Bavaria's finest. Being at the point where all the new owner needs to do is throw it in the panel shop (or do it themselves) and pick a colour allows for the best kind of car “modification”, without worrying about whether it is going to break down on you, or cost you a fortune at a specialist mechanic.
I am only selling the car, because as you can see from the video below, I have 4 registered cars, and the yearly upkeep on registration outweighs the pros of keeping them for my children when they are old enough. Whilst they won't drive for over ten years time, I can confidently say I had no concerns about the cars staying mechanically excellent until they were ready.
Can easily put her on historic registration to keep costs down, but with it being street registered, it means you can just get in and drive whenever you want.

The following photos were taken at the BMW Drivers club of NSW Show of Excellence on Oct 30th 2011. It had passing rain on the day, hence the water drops on the windscreen.

I have put this video together for people interested in purchasing it, and who want to ensure that they know what they are buying. This video runs through me showing all of the electrics working, a walk around identifying rust, video of a compression test being undertaken, cold starting of the car.showing the handbrake works on a hill, and a little run around the streets.

(Oh, and after filming the video I realise the steering wheel was out one spline, and have since fixed that).
