What exactly did u get it on? Leather? Plastic? Carpet? Suede?
Need some more details.
Then....perhaps do a Google search for "removing makeup from XYZ material".

that shit white powdery crap, mostly on plastics and leather. Had a quick google not alot has come up
I hear and feel your pain mate. My wife's two little (teenage) sisters have managed to get their make up all over the door trims, seatbelts and leather in my wagon.
I am yet to find something that removes it entirely. I dont know how they get it everywhere, I have told them to wash their hands before getting in on a fee occasions. It doesn't help that they seem to plaster the crap outta themselves most days!
So who here has teenage daughters, wives/girlfriends etc that manage to leave trails??

a good product to get for cleaning generally everything interior is 'dissol'can get from super cheap if i remember rightly, its been around for years, if its on leather the best and cheapest product to use is lux soap flakes, you can buy a box of it from the supermarket for under 10 dollars and it will last you forever, mix it with hot water and scrub with a brush and wipe clean with a microfibre cloth, any other dramas pm me as i own a car detailing business, cheers mate

Now you find out how good (or bad) the product actually is when it has to do some real work!
Use a proper leather cleaner like Duragloss, Leatherique or Swisswax.
303 make a decent plastic cleaner. Perhaps send CCP an email or PM they're extremely helpful.

The best product I've used is a good micro-fibre cloth and warm to hot water.
rince the cloth well and squease most of the water out of it. Then wipe the leather down till the dirt is gone. Nom need to "scrub", just let the cloth do the work. It may take a while for stubborn stuff, but it cleans the leather verry well.

missus broke her makeup (liquid not powder) on the bathroom sink (some kind of cheap hybrid/stone sink/bench combo), took some good scrubing to get most of it off but you can still see a bit of a stain in the right (or wrong?) light... I do NOT envy you. All I can say is thank christ it wasnt my car!

Maybe im just a makeup-tard, but how the hell do you get makeup on a doortrim?.....
Are people "making up" their hands these days?

I think they either come out of the house straight after getting 'done up' and dont wash their hands, or just wipe their face etc and it sticks to the hand.
either way, careless.
easy job to sort out. get onto mike or pierre @ car care products and get them to send out some mint apc (http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/mint/apc) and a couple of micro fibre cloths. depending on what surfaces its on a leather brush may be a good idea too as it will get into the texture of the leather/trims.

21 year old daughter here. Thankfully she has her own Mazda 2.
The patterned vinyl/plastics seem to be a makeup magnet - think gear shift, steering wheel, switch gear. I use any of the domestic spray cleaner type products and a "soft" nail brush. Spray on heavily (cover floor/cloth seats so that drips do not make a mess) and leave to soak. Spray again and use soft brush (can't be too soft or it will not clean out the fine grain) to scrub. You may want to spray again with cleaner. Clean up with wet cloth and bucket of rinse water. A clean water spray bottle can also assist in clean up.
Getting makeup off headlining etc would be a nightmare. Probably need to steam clean.

Baby wipes seem to get it off - yes I am guilty of getting make up on my car trim haha!

I will give these a try as i now have an abundance of these at home (expecting our first) .
@ WHLS1, it was even worse on the headlining and sun visors in my old VE SS ute as these were black. It annoyed me when i first got our SSV wagon that the A pillars, visors headlniing etc was the (IMHO) ugly beige/grey colour as in the omega wagons, unlike my ute which was all black. The black looked far better, but perhaps holden was onto something with the wagon......
No, doubt it.

Ahhhh yes, not only that, but every summer when the car heats up inside, back comes the fresh smell of vomit. Not so much from babies, but when the kids start eating solids etc..........*shudders*...........lets just say that everything becomes "adult like"

Dave, I can think of at least 5 positions that will result in makeup on door trim. Dash and seats as well for that matter.
It's the high heel imprints in the roof lining that a nightmare.

How about makeup remover
I was going to suggest this or ask them for some makeup wipes. It gets the stuff off them, so it should get it off your car. As for fabric, could try a hand/nail brush and some interior cleaner.

Just be careful with make up remover as it can sometimes be oily.

When I had the Calais I was constantly cleaning the sun visor (why she had to check herself every 5 mins did my head in) I used hot water and a micro fibre cloth, worked well. Best thing was when we bought her a new car with a black interior, then she understood….!
I recon the worst thing is bloody GLITTER….. had to take the girl friends daughter to a dancing thing about 3 mts after I got the car and to this day 5 years later (mate now owns it) that stuff stills turns up no matter how many times you clean.

The only thing that works 100% is a new missus that doesn't put it on with a brickies trowel. I use a toothbrush and mr sheen for a lot of interior cleaning.
