Hey guys,

Planning to have my gen-TT kit installed in my maloo over the christmas break.
Very exited to finally be getting it on the car!
The one thing that i'm questioning now though, is who i should have tune it???
Has anybody had one of these kits tuned in south east vic? Or any other LS turbo setup? Any advice/tips would be appreciated.

Cheers, Tommy.

Everyone will tell you a different place to take it on here.. You will hear good and bad reports about every tuner! My suggestion is visit a few workshops and have a chat with them! Tell them what you want out of the car! And make a decision on who you like...

Every reputable tuner will do a decent job otherwise they would not still be in business...

I got my car tuned by Anthony at Maztech and he did a great job! if I were to go somewhere local It's worth going and having a chat too the boys at 4bfabrications.com.au the tuner there really knows his stuff and will be the next place I take mine...

I had my Gen TT Kit tuned by 2 tuners..... I of them went pop and i was 6K out of pocket the other still going strong today. Do your research mate as tuning FI cars is not as forgiving as tuning cam only cars. Good luck

and dont use one just because there cheap. a good tuner will want your car for a couple of days to fine tune and get it rite so do alot of reserch and get it done once otherwise it will cost you lots in the long run

This isn't the first time APS has come up in conversation over tuning. They will be one of the workshops i visit.

chevs.......

I've spoken with chev but he's not interested in doing work with turbos.

Who were the two shops you took your car to and what were the differences? Apart from the obvious detonation of your engine.

Also, has anybody had anything to do with the horsepower factory?

Thanks again.
