I am looking at getting an alarm/immobiliser fitted to my vx ss, can anyone provide me with some good systems to look into and even maybe someone who can do a good job fitting it.
Thanks
Dave

A mate put a Venom system in his car and he reckons it went alright, had auto re-alarm and a bunch of features and i think it was 500 installed at tint a car.

Carlfst60l works at rhino, I have spoken to him as I am also looking for an alarm. This was last week and I havnt heard anything back from him as of yet regarding the features. He did reply with a price of around $800 for "the works" but I'm not sure what that is yet.

I have a Rhino alarm which uses a SIM card which can arm/disarm from your phone plus if anything sets it off it can send SMS to up to 5 phones informing them of what set it off. Had problems initially with the optional tilt sensor setting it off randomly most nights but changed tilt sensors and it's now fine.
The sort of GPS trackers HSV_Listy on here sells which are quite cheap now and also have capabilities of being hooked into doors etc - possibly a good compromise.
