i have a vz ss, bought unlicensed from disposal auction.

it has pacemaker tuned length extractors, hiflow cats.

one of the primary pipes is squashed badly (probably loosing at least %50 of its original capacity)

I have put a standard cat back off a vz sv6 on it and its quite as a mouse. dosent even sound like a v8.

the extractors are going to be replaced because of the dent anyway.

but i didnt want to put new ones on to fail the pits if it needs to go back to standard manifolds and standard cats.

but can the car pass the pits with extractors and hiflow cats on it?

and if they will pass the extractors and hiflow cats will they pass the exisiting ones with a dent in them?

You could always get a 5 gas test done to see how far its off on emissions. If its lucky enough to pass you could always take the results along to show them as "good will"

Thats encouraging, might be worth a try.
