Ok so yesterday while i was at work some scum came into my house and stole about 2k worth of electronics, most of all they took both my keys for my ss

Main key was in a stubby cooler on top of the fridge and the spear was under my bedside cabinet.

Holden parts dont open till Monday so they can replace ignition etc

Funny thing is the dik head must of checked the key on the car and left it unlocked
So last night I removed the ignition and starter motor fuses locked the doors from inside and removed battery. Hopefully if they do come back for it they wont be able to take it.

So first of all what is involved in replacing all the ignition and imoberlizer

Cheers

very very strange that they decided to take both keys and sounds like they knew where to look.

Like you say new barrels, bcm/ECM as HSV are unique and some programming from what I know.

Insurance my cover it but your excess might be up there.

I'd be tempted to rig up a camera watchin the car for a few days to capture video if they do come back. . . Plus sleep by the front window with a crowbar. . . Just remember to turn off the camera when you go outside to say g'day.

entrapment...

leave the ss outside.. when they come for it, you go for them.

They are just thieves... waiting for them to come back so you can break the law by assaulting them isnt a good idea, sort of just lowering youself to there standards... your not a crim, dont act like one.. you pay insurance for this very reason.

just relax people. assaulting someone is probably worse than stealing property off them. and this idea that you might be taking on a few crims at night by yourself is just dangerous.. they have already shown to theiving scum.. they might be the stabbing / shooting type of criminal scum too.

But yeah i understand the attitude.. and thats the first reaction, wanting to watch them die in a grease fire while you throw rocks at them..

but instead of being upset that you lost some electronic gear made by a twelve your old from china, maybe you should be happy that drug addicted theiving scum didnt climb through windows while your wife/girlfriend/kids were at home...

every Calm down, nathan89 will get covered by insurance. life will go on .. good luck with insurance mate
