hi All,
I purchased a set of Depo headlights for a VX Exec the same kind as OEM ones.
The only problem is that one (and possibly two) lights don't fit.
The mounting point near the battery does not fit, ie it sits about
12 mm above the hole. I thought about using a spacer yet it would
not support the light properly. (and I don't know where the lights would point)
I can't think that Depo would produce a light like this and obviously
many as they would be comming out of the mold.

Has anyone else had this problem ?
What happened with the other people on ebay and their lights.
The company lists under My.plaza on ebay.

cheers Paul

Not uncommon with non genuine parts. Fitting issues can range from minor to major (sounds like yours are heading into the realms of major). If you haven't yet done feedback you have some sway over them but at worst assuming you did the clever thing and paid using Paypal just arrange a refund.

I have not had a chance to get a reply yet I am asking for my money back.
I wonder if they were rejects that some one put in to the system.
To be honest I am sick of taking the bumper bar off together with the lights.
I put hid on hi beam. then changed for a bigger bulb. then changed
the wiring, then again trying the Depo ones.
I thought Depo was a good company.

cheers Paul.

You must be as good as me getting that front bar off now, Between my VT and my brother monaro i reckon I've done it no less than 10 times. Could probably install HID's in less than half an hour now.
