G'day Fellas,
Will finally bite the bullet shortly and request a reputable workshop in Perth to fit the ASE T-800 or T-1000 Turbo kit to my completely stock 2005 Holden Monaro CV8-Z, 6 speed manual in Fusion.
Overeast workshops have quoted between $9000-11000 drive in/drive out.
Which reputable workshops in Perth would you personally recommend?
There's no way I'd pay above and beyond 11k to get this work done with all the goodies included such as injectors, fuel pump, etc especially when workshops overeast are offering the public this.
Thanks!

just as a heads up, and this is in no way directed at anyone.
But before you go pointing to an "overeast" price and wanting it to be the same, what is advertised is not always indicative of the final drive away price.
There's nearly always an extra or two or three, when a car's individual needs are taken in to account.
When you do a job to a price point, the work stops when that point is met.
Good luck, i'm sure you'll love the turbo.

Is there a full exhaust in that price or are you planning on running it with your factory one?
Speak to Mitch at WA Perf, fitted plenty of these things and won't mess you about.
Also take in to consideration the legalities of fitting these kits with regards to your quotes. Plenty of workshops will be able to bolt the kit on for you, somewhere close to your budget. Most of them won't be able to keep it legal for that price ;)

I would say mitch at wa performance has fitted more of these style of kits than most around perth !
I remember back in the day when martin come up with one of the first diy off the shelf turbo kits like above they where really popular !
Good bang for buck ! good luck

Just having a guess but i think that price would be about right.Whats the kit worth around 7k, fuel pump couple of hundred, injectors $400 to $500 then labour charge probaly a day and a half to 2 days to fit and tune theres around 16 hours at $100 and hour so thats around 9k plus yeah little bits and peices.Maybe budget for a clutch too if yours is still standard

you ideally want some one who has fitted one of these kits before and knows the traps. turbo's get hot and they melt shit. so you will pay a little extra to cover up hoses etc to protect from heat.
there is no price when it comes to peace of mind.

Cheers for the advice fellas :)
Would Twin Turbo's be more reliable than a Single? Especially the Twin Turbo's that sit underneath the engine/near bottom of gearbox?
