Hiya fellas,
I've been looking for another VE SS, this time series II and I noticed that there was a few VE SSs and Clubsports with new crate engines... Can't remember how many, but it caught my eye.. There was no explanation as to why the engines were swapped though...
Just wandering why? Any thoughts?
The first thing that came to my mind was so much for bulletproof LS engines, but then again I don't want to get disappointed as I'm looking for Series II SS..

Most of them would most likely be the oil pressure relief getting stuck open in the oil pump and the things getting driven with no oil pressure.

Holden sell about 5,000 commodores a month. I would expect that you would see a few faulty motors from time to time.

So a lemon pretty much Northy? Fair enough..
Oil pressure makes sense too 02pruv, but I can't imagine anyone driving without noticing a gauge or an oil pressure light coming on...
I suppose there are few huh? :)

No oil pressure light remember. Just a check engine light with an oil symbol if you notice that and most mistake it for low oil level.
