Due to family issues, am thinking about selling the R8. I have done some research and believe that it should be sold for betwenn $45k and $50k.

It has 44k on the clock, white, in very good condition (except rims - gutter marks), hurricane exhaust, clean, always garaged, washed and clean every weekend.

What do you guys think?

Am in Brisbane

Sorry to hear you have to sell a car you obviously enjoy

price sounds about right to me, all depends how quick you need to sell it, I would think if you needed a quick sale you should be around the Lower 40s

I saw a brand new E3 Clubby on carsales yesterday for well under $60k driveaway (http://www.carsales.com.au/bncis/details/hsv-clubsport-2011-10316214?cr=5&vertical=Car&Range=Price:Min,Max~1|Mileage:Min,Max|Year:Min,Max |Seats:Min,Max|EngineSize:Min,Max&silo=Stock&sort=~Price&eapi=2&__N=1216%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294965530% 204294964634&distance=25&find=e3|CarAll) and a few other new and near new ones (some slightly hail damaged) so in combination with naillit's recent thread on how HSVs aren't selling I would think low 40s with that mileage, depending on condition/extras. It's also out of factory warranty now. LS3 or LS2? If LS3 you have more chance.

Have been looking in this exact price bracket for about the last 2 months. Anything north of $45k I reckon you'll be sitting on it for awhile, with 08 GTS's in there and many E2's with less kms. There's a couple hovering the $45k range that haven't budged for quite some time. Your decision though, wait and hope or sell and move on...

E3's under 60, might have to go for a drive this weekend...
