Help with 6l80 g box tune

hi looking for some help i am looking to have a tvs 2300 s/c fitted and have been told the oztrack tune i have in will have to be changed as the power delivery will be to harsh for the tune i have now .the car is a vxr8 with a 6l80 box in and i like the tune i have now ,being a pom we dont have many tuners to go to and the company that will be fitting it are the best in the uk what do you guys think cheers rick

If you want to find out about more tuners in the UK, get on pistonheads and go to the Ultima section. Seem a far few tuners mentioned in the UK for LS's on there. Ask the pommy boys on there where to go as a lot of them have LS engines in their Ultima's these days.

I would say "yes" you would have to get a retune when fitting a s/c. Pretty standard. If you like your current tune why not get in touch with Steve at Oztrack and explain to him what you're doing. I always found him to be very willing to help and talk shop a little.
