I'm running one with my MP1900 (pretty much the TVS1900) on an LS1.
Looks great and performs well around town but the air filter is a major restriction in the top end :(
My blower won't see more than 7PSI with the filter in, jumps to 9.5 if I remove it. Back to back runs picked up ~25hp by pulling the filter - and it's only seen around 1,500kms so it's still in very good condition. Would be interesting to see how they perform compared to a sealed pod with larger filter area.

just bought one. actually paid for it today.
Dus is great to deal with- has plenty of time to answer questions and really put my mind at ease purchasing something i had no idea about (not many floating about)
I will let you know how it goes. feel free to pm me, but as far as service goes - dus is a top bloke..

The neck is a different shape on mine. My NA one wouldn't fit with the blower.
The Maggie's need the neck offset due to the pulley being in the way. Throttle body is also further back so the neck is longer.
I'm not sure how the newer models relate to this?
That pic is a Harrop which have the shaft under the blower body and the pulley is mounted lower. What setup is the TVS?

Interesting.
We never did any back to back testing with the filter out when it was on the dyno. I will give it a go next time we get it on the dyno

Hey guys,on a slight side issue, i'm considering getting one of these. Does anyone think there might be engine temp issues running one of these along with a trans cooler (already fitted) and the blower intercooler? Mine is the MP122 kit from CAPA. I'm just disapointed with the amount of low to mid range torque and having had an OTR prior to the blower install, was considering getting one of these units again to improve air flow and air intake temps. Any thoughts or comments greatly appreciated.

Mine gets pretty warm with the air con on but I'd say it's more related to my radiator than anything else. If the aircon is off then even on 40+ days it stays at the same temp pre-blower, a touch over 90.
I do think an excessive amount is covered by stuff in front too. Like you say.. OTR, trans cooler, W2A intercooler and PS cooler. I'm considering moving the smaller ones to the sides if I can but will clean out the radiator and see how it goes.
What sort of boost are you running? I fitted a smaller pulley and the difference in the bottom end was huge.

Thanks for the info champ. Not sure what sort of boost i'm running as my installer never tested it, although I did upgrade the pulley (again through CAPA) which only seemed to be marginally smaller than the original and quite frankly I couldn't even tell the difference in performance afterwards. I just don't want to go through the process and then find that it's going to cause other issues. How did u get an exact temperature reading?

Put the dash into diagnostic mode. You'll be surprised how much the temp changes before the gauge does!
They say every 0.1 of an inch the pulley changes should increase boost by around 1PSI. Did you retune it afterwards?
The tuner should be able to see the boost from the tune log, doesn't have to be recorded on the dyno as its just the manifold pressure.

The tuner did supposedly retune it, but as I say, i'm still underwhelmed by the return on my investment. Will have a look in diagnostic mode, gotta remember how to get there lol. Think i might be best going without the OTR. Thanks again for your input champ.

I got a fair bit more throttle response once I fitted mine to my HH112, also managed with a tune touch up to drop my Et by arround .2

hey mate, did you notice a drop in intake temps?
