trac control light is staying on

Gday all, my name is ben and i am a new member

I have recently aquired a VX calais and after getting the abs unit replaced it has the trac control light staying on... has anyone come accross this problem before?

Maybe a faulty on/off switch?

I know i dont need it but dash lights shit me and my GF uses the car with our daughter...

Faulty switch sounds a little to simple, but when mine did that, it was just the switch, so check it first. If its not, see if its throwing any error codes.

if the light was on before you swapped the unit then it might just need the ecu cleared, maybe a holden / tech2 2min fix

Trac light staying on can also be caused by low voltage at start up if your battery is starting to get tired

Thanks for the advice guys, it sat for a few days at the auto electrician so the battery may have run down a little while it was there, ill take it for a good run today to try and elinimate the battery issue, then work on the other two if that doesnt work.
