Hi all,
I am wanting another exhaust system, for my LS1. Last system i had was built by Mark at Exhaust Technology (KPM). Quality was fantastic but i sold the whole system about 2months after cos i was going to sell the car. i wasn't really THAT happy with the note it produced.
At the moment i have decided on Pacemaker OR Di Filippo 4>1 1 3/4 Ceramic coated, Ballistics 3" cats. How ever in the cat-back i have a few different options. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the following cat-back options or any advice!!
This is all twin 3" mild steel piping and Stainless steel mufflers/resinators.
Option 1: X-Pipe with 25mm oxy cut then flowing to twin Di Filippo Centre mufflers flowing to 12" hot-dogs in the rear. (This is what Darren Di Filippo said was the cat-back setup if you wanted it louder than the off the shelf Twin 3" that Di Filippo do)
Option 2: X-Pipe with 25mm oxy cut then flowing to twin Borla 5" Round-15" Long Muffler/Resinators(Part No:40085) in the centre flowing to 12" hot-dogs in the rear.
Option 3: X-Pipe with 25mm oxy cut then flowing to twin 12" hot-dogs in the centre flowing to Borla Muffler's in the rear. Part Number:40943 (to be mounted vertical so it stays twin all the way)
Has anyone had any experience with any of the above options?
Any advice would be appreciated :-)
James.
