As some know, I have removed the centre trim and replaced with the new triple gauge setup.

I am selling that 'old' trim with the display and recently received a question about wanting to buy the SIC module as well. When i removed the trim, I simply unplugged the old 'screen' and removed the trim. Does this mean that the SIC module is sitting doing nothing or is it indeed running other things. Sorry if its a basic question. I simply dont know.

I'm quite happy to sell this to him if it is simply an unused item at present. This would then lead into the question of exactly where it is.

cheers

The SIC (Secondary Instrument Cluster) is just the SSV Atari gauges themselves with all their inbuilt electronics. When my HSV gauges were installed I sold my SIC to a guy interstate upgrading his SSV from the older double gauge SIC to the triple (as per thread in one of the technical sections). List price from memory is $295 + GST so I sold mine for $150. He obviously didn't need the centre trim (list price under $100 inc GST) so in the end I just binned it.
