ve ss cam sensor faults

So ive had a cam sensor fault code popping up
Car starts normal and drives fine but every now and then it wont fire up

Also any ideas where the sensor is located

I had this problem for about a week, turned out the drive belt wore through a signal wire for the cam sensor. It's located just above the harmonic balancer.
