Hi Guys,

Just seeking some advice on supercharger kits. Been looking into the Yella Terra Whipple and Harrop supercharger kits that are available for the VE range.

One thing i have noticed is that the Harrop Gear seem to all be Rear Driven with a Front Inlet where as the Whipple stuff are Front Driven with a Rear inlet.

Can anyone explain advantages and disadvantages of each setup?

Cheers

Also it should be noted they are 2 different styles aka Whipple being a Screw and Harrop being roots. Heaps of information on screw vs roots on here if you search. They both have their advantages and disadvantages over each other but really comes down to what you want and how big you want to go.

front drive is easier to service leaky seals /replace bearings ect and has less belts to slip
