Engine oil Level ?

I had my Car serviced about a month ago.

I just checked my oil level and it is just over 1cm over the Max level.

Is this anything to worry about?

We did notice at one stage a bit of rattle coming from underneath the car at start up.

Does your car use oil? If so your mechanic may have just overfilled it slightly to compensate.
I wouldn't be worrying at all about it mate, when i take my car to the track i always overfill it a tad

That equates to approx 500 - 750 ml of extra oil - which is bang on right to avoid oil starvation problems when accelerating briskly from stationary.

As for oil capacity,
Factory infomation is: Max 5.5 Litres.
This is incorrect. You can put 6.5 Litres into the Gen III pan, with the oil level still below the factory Windage tray.
Remark your dipstick 18mm above the factory full mark, or fill with 5.5L add 1 extra litre and remark.
