The owner is a regular on the GMH Torana forums and shares info freely about his car. Thing I love about the car is not that it has stupid power figures for bragging, but such a well executed overall package with top quality components, designed to be reliable race spec. Note the tow point in the front bumper. Keith black motors were the absolute cream of the crop.
This inspired my mate to get to work on an LX SS tastefully upgraded to A9X spec and some of the SLR8000 engineering is being researched along the way. Getting a hatchback was inspired by Brocky's 79 win.
I have the street machine issue too....the good old days.

well the price the SLR5000 or even an LX SS are bringing at the moment is insane. I would happily park one in the garage but for 50 large forget it.....
