2 1/4 Inch Cat which is best ?????

I have searched but cannot find anything on 2 1/4 inch cats, I am going to get these replaced on the weekend when I get the exhaust fixed on the X8.

Thunder did mention in one post that the Catco cats may flow better as they have a larger cross section than the Magnaflows.

They will by 200cpi and metal substrate whatever I get, anyone got any info or point me towards which brand woould be the best.

Do you have standard ones fitted now? You will need a tune if going from stock to higher flowing ones. Other than that I can suggest Ballistic (sureflo) and Outlaw (hm headers) cats as some of the better ones out there.

Yes car will be tweaked and yes I have standard ones at the moment with set of HM shortys and a 2007 crewman dual 2 1/4 inch. Didnt know Ballistic did a 2 1/4 know HM do and that is a option, but either way I have to get it done this weekend.
