there has been thread discussion about Traction Control.I always thought it was standard in SS models, now I realise I have no button or indicator light in my dash,is there any chance it is fitted without an on/off button and works all the time

so if I can't do a burnout it means I have TC-1 way to find out I spose--very funny,I like that idea, mbe I should wait till it raining make it easier
seems strange I have an on/off button for the interior lights so they don't work when a door is opened, don't know if that is normal either

Hmm it sounds like you have an ex cop car. I don't think they had traction control and they did have extra/different interior light setups.
Someone else may confirm this

yes it is ex police-I think it was an unmarked car,it still has the dent in the carpet from the camera mount and glue patches on the rear window from the red and blue lights

The plod ordered these 9C1 based vehicles without traction control but with an extra light switch to see their donuts. ;)

hahaa funny- I don't know about seeing donuts and it doesn't light up any extra lights.I think it more likely so the door can be opened without the light coming on-but you already knew that :jester:
