Ok, so I have been doing a lot of research on exhaust, yes I have searched the forums thoroughly and come up with many different opinions, but what is a good choice

So I was thinking about going a 3" KPM non ceramic header back stainless. I am looking for a performance gain, decent note and still want to keep my warranty as the car has just been built. I'm located on the Mornington Peninsula in VIC, so if anyone knows any good places or has any opinions I live to her them.

Good luck with your car mate, no doubt starting a new thread will get you the same 'many different opinions'.

You are in the right place for KPM as Chev's Performance (sponsor on here) in Carrum Downs is KPM's Victorian agent. However, whilst I have a full 3" KPM system on my ute and absolutely love it  (as do many others, you're welcome to meet me to hear it) even KPM recommend against 3" for the wagons due to increased potential for drone. It therefore depends on how sensitive you and others who may travel in it are to drone and how much you are prepared to trade that off for the deeper and louder note of the 3".

As for keeping warranty that depends to a fair degree on your dealer and how they feel about mods, even relatively minor ones like full exhaust without OTR or tune if that's your choice. Some dealers will reject or try to reject almost any powertrain warranty claim if you have even put a catback on, others will accept almost any mods except huge cams or FI. There does come a point however on larger claims eg gearboxes where it is out of their hands anyway.
