as per instructions on the forum i have just read through the FAQ's and rules and couldn't see anything to answer my question, so here it is:

why do my threads and posts in the classified section take days to get approval? is it just me or does it happen to everyone? i understand i'm new here and there is a limited number of mods to check the threads and posts, but does the approval stop after a time period or post count?

not a huge issue, just annoying when replying to items for sale and it takes 4 days for your reply to show up.

cheers guys, other than that the forums seems like a great place to pick up hints/tips and info for my new toy :)

I don't know a specific answer to the time frame question, I just thought it was when one of the mods had time to look and approve, but to speed up replies it would be much quicker to use private messages regarding classified items.

same time frame for everyone, can take 5 mins can take a couple days, all depends when a mod can approve it, there all volunteers and not on all the time. as above best to PM or email them to get in first type thing. first in best dressed.

cheers fellas. as i said, not a huge issue was just wondering.

when i first joined i think all my posts were taking a bit to get approval, now most seem to go straight thru except for classifieds.

i'll stick to PM/email in classified section as much as i can now :)

Yep it can be a real pain. Especially when you post in their add telling them to clear their inbox ect. Then you can start talking details.

Is it possible to implement some more mods who solely deal with approving classified ads? I know I check the section multiple times a day...

I am happy to entertain the idea, would need volunteers to step forward first.. :D ..
