One of my bugbears over the years is finding somewhere to get touch up paint without getting ripped off - this may be common knowledge but for those in the same boat, I went to my local Autobarn with my paint code and they sold me a 50ml bottle for $15. Took about 10 mins because they couldn't find Poison Ivy in the Holden codes, apparently it's a GM US code - got there in the end tho.
On my way out the door in the 50% off bin I spied a new Rockford Fosgate 150-2 Amp normally $300 - bargain?

autobarn, auto-one, repco all can make paint so-long as u have the paint code :)
super-crap USE to do it, not sure about now..
I always go to auto one, can either get a bottle with a small paint brush or in a spray can, what ever u desire :D

I work at my old man's panel shop so just mix paint up when I need it but one thing I have always wondered about touch up paints is do they mix up the different variants or just the standard for the code you give them? I ask because some of the variants are soo different even touch ups stand out like dogs balls.

$15 or so dollars is pretty much the normal price anywhere for a touchup bottle. About the only way you might pay less (usually) is if it's been commercially packaged (like paint pens etc), as they are made in quantity rather than the vastly more labour intensive custom mix.
Metallics and pearls in particular often look different to the original sprayed paint, as paint thickness in particular can play a huge role in the final outcome.

Tried there first - not helpfull at all, the Autobarn mix is good enough to the eye - much better than the undercoat the chip has left.
