Ballarat mechanic

I've purchased my first v8 and so far am loving life in it! I'm looking at getting a good full service and a few bits and pieces fixed up, can anyone recomend a good mechanic in Ballarat Victoria?
Simple question i know but up until now i've done all my own services and work so i dont have a regular mechanic

I had a mate that worked there and after talking to him there's no way I'm going there.
I lowered the rear yesterday and driving today a bolt snapped and I dropped a shock so I've got to fix that now too dammit

There is a member on here who runs an automotive service and modification business in Ballarat who I've had some PM discussions with and was impressed. Also I know peter b on here who is a mechanic in Sydney into mods whose opinions I trust has had dealings with and recommends him. LS1 user name jca - Jason Clark Auto. Maybe PM him?

They got over 15k for my engine work/mods & had no dramas
Otherwise id go to Kochcampers in Ellsworth st

There are a few members on here that speak pretty highly of JCA. So I doubt you could go wrong

+1. Jason tuned my R8. I had heard good things about JCA and drove from the sth eastern suburbs to see him and the trip was worth while. I'd happily drive back there again no questions asked. Jason was happy to give some advice on a manual conversion I was doing on another car aswell. Highly recommend him if you want great service & no bullshit

Jasons honest guy , no bull worked on my cars,,tuned etc your talking to someone great that knows his job well,and thats working cars,always willing to talk never stuffs you around!

I took it in to Dave "vt exec ls1" and was more than happy with his work, also got to see a couple of his toys!
I'll be in again soon to have more work done, i'd definitely reccomend him to others in Ballarat

jason has done some work for me - the work was good, but for some reason my supplied diff gears (30K old) that were removed were not returned to me! Left a message as I had moved towns, and nothing.

Nothing but great news about Dave - If I was still there my MOnaro would be getting some valve springs and a bump stick.
