My new steed :)
I have ordered the new R77 Yoshi pipes, Yoshi oggy knobs, radiator stone guard, rear seat cowel and the Yoshi rear fender eliminator
She feels very nice as gave her a quick squirt up Stuart Hway and very "snappy" considering she's bog stock!.
Will be alot better once the pipes are on so I can actually hear her, lol

Hmm
Awesome looking bike. Is the smile on your face as wide as the moment you first sat on the bike now that it is in your possesion?

Richard

There is a guy with one of these that is always running it at Calder when I am working.
He was running low 10's after low 10's then last time he cracked a 9.98

This bike makes it really tempting to get my bike license. Congrats on the purchase, and below explains the smile on Scottys face (it just doesn't stop pulling  )

These are a wicked bike, i love the 14's.
just make sure you check the 2 bolts which hold the meter bracket on are done up tight, we have already had a customer lose a bolt from there.
otherwise we have found just make the front suspension a tad firmer so under brakes theirs not so much weight transfer.
Other then that, i can't wait till i get mine, Anyone want a ZX6?

Appreciate the advice mate! :)
I'v already had a play with the set-up, pulled the 2 x ABS fuses out and ready to take on the twisties Sunday morning (even if she is still stock)
Going from the '07 to the '12 model is amazingly different! I really didn't think there'd be that much difference but wholey cow!

Hey Pickles,
She's an inline 4 DOHC 1441CC (it's a stroked version of the older 1352CC engine)
She puts out around 207-210bhp with Ram Air effect.

Nice bike. I just got myself a CBR 1000RR and the power it has is nuts, so your bike should be like nothing else!
Have fun and post more pics when you get the yoshi gear on.

Unreal!....So, would it be the most powerful production bike in Aus?
Cheers, Pickles.

...would have to be now
the ZX12R held the mantle when first released 149kw (approx 196hp)
and the ZX14 came along and Kawasaki continued the rep of the most powerful
The new BMW has 195 (same as the 12R) so the ZX14 is still king.. :)

The BMW is faster though. Bit like having an 8" dong and not knowing how to use it.
FWIW I like the ZX14. Much more comfortable bike than the outright sports models and stills hauls arse.

the BMW has a weight advantage...and you are correct about not being able to use it
In Germany maybe but here would see you lose the bike and hauled off in front of a beak :)

Took the green girl to the drags on Saturday night and managed a 10.9@138mph (had 140km on the clock)
60' was 2.7s as didn't wanna dump the new clutch plus I couldn't hear the bloody thing!
Then took her out to Lichfield yesterday and threw her into 50kms of twisties and she handled like a dream!
She's now been "broken in" as both pegs are scuffed! :)

My pipes arrived yesterday and took the ECU out and sent it to ECUWEST to be flashed!
Rear fender kit and sliders arrived today and hopefully PCV will turn up early next week so when my ECU returns, she can go straight onto the dyno :)
