Anyone else reckon the Dash/instruments panel on the SSV Series 2 absolutely hopeless?

Driving around in daylight with sunnies on, I can hardly see any of the instruments because they are too dark. Luckily it has the digital speedo readout option, otherwise I would have no clue how fast I am going. Then there is this hologram type hazing across the screen caused by f%$ knows?

what kind of Sunnies do you have polarized or just normal?

I find with my polarized Sunnies some certain angles I cant see some displays

Nah just normal and I get the hologram without sunnies. I just took a photo and it came up in the photo as well.

aaah...no
IMHO I think the Series II instruments (speedo tach etc) are far far superior to the Series I ones
(which I had in that soft blue..which really were a blurr)

the white instrument numbers etc are clear and easy to read..plus you dont have points on what seemed like
every 1kmh like you had on Series I speedo

also due to reflection blindness I have to wear polarized dark glasses everytime I am outside ..including in the car
and the instruments are clear with them on

mind you ...I did have to replace the silver dash strips AGAIN as they reflect light onto the instrument glass
and I could not see anything (had this same problem with the SI SSv too...swapped over to HSV matt black on that)
