VY SS CREWMAN reverse gear

test drove a 6 speed manual crewman and when i put it into reverse it poped out and sometimes it didnt is that a major concern i made sure it was all the way in gear

I'd think it's a T56 being a T56. My VE R8 does it in 1st and reverse (mainly during cold mornings, or maybe it's just my imagination), so every time I start it I put it in gear twice (1st-neutral-1st or reverse-neutral-reverse) and haven't had a problem since. Although I don't think it's supposed be that way, so now I've got an excuse to get a tex z grip :)

Oh, and be sure to get a mech to check it out anyway before you hand out your hard earned as it may be a sign of how the cars been treated (not to put you off, mine does it and it's been baby'd)
