Haven't seen much mention of this anywhere but Holden are now producing a MY12.5 model change called the Z-Series. I ordered an SSV Redline two months ago and was told a month later that the Redline has been discontinued, and that I would be getting an SSV Z-Series instead. Apparently the new SSV combines the features of the previous SSV and the Redline, plus comes with a sunroof as standard, as well as Z-Series floormats and badging. The good news for me is the extras I ordered (Redline edition and sunroof) are now included in the regular price. Also managed to get it with 5 years warranty and 4 years roadside assist, so I'm pretty happy. Mine is scheduled to arrive in the next couple of weeks.

yep its been pulled down from the Holden website. hmmm not sure whether this Z series actually suits or would work well, concidering that HSV used the VZ series as the Z series and holden had the SSZ AND CV8Z varaints. I thought redline was doing well.

..this is Holdens 'goodbye ' to the VE (same as what they did with VZ)
and it applies to ALL models apparently

I have had a couple of orders for Equipe sedans and wagons for our reps...cancelled and re-instated as 'Z Series' vehicles
which is replacing all 'extra value' packs as explained to me by my dealer (nice to know as my coy's fleet manager!)

Does that mean VF is closer than we think? Would be strange to run a 'limited edition' like this for close to a year. Sydney Motor Show debut instead?

Yeah it is a little confusing. Just to add to the confusion, the V in SS-V is actually V-Series SS, so we have SS V-Series Z-Series. :errr:

Sydney Motor Show debut instead? not sure about the Sydney Motorshow, but it will have to be sometime between the 2013 Daytona 500 and the 2013 Clipsal 500 as the "VF" will debut in both races.
