TRYHRD's new engine combo

Was just looking around youtube at random stuff and came across this cool combo built by Nelson Racing Engines in the states. It makes 2200+hp and as the video states it was built for Craig Munro and is destined for TRYHRD. Should be an awesome combo... :D

I thought that was crazy when they had to remove the window from the dyno room and add 3 fans to provide enough air for the engine...

Yeah dude,i hope the front bar on the car is bolted down and no birds in a kilometer radius of given drag strip.I can wait to see what class they race in,it would give Pro St a real shake up

Apparantly the engine is for Tryhrd 2.0, this months issue of street commodore(issue 200) says craig is building a full drag spec race car for this new engine and that the original tryhrd remains untouched save for smaller turbos.

That's nuts!!! Just check out the headers instantly glow red hot as it comes on boost!! Imagine the torque stress on the crank as it backs off from full rpm and boost .. DAMN!

Looks like a parts eating monster to me. Lucky Craig has more money than cents. What did he end up spending on the first one? was at least half a million. Still, I got a hard on watching that video. Very cool.

That thing is huge. Some $ sunk there. Hopefully holds out better than Summernats 19. Granted that was not an engine failure as such.

ah, I only ever saw it in mags at dyno shootout comps. did it put down any decent times?

Yeah it did heaps of dyno work, there is a video of it at Heathcote doing a run on Youtube somewhere, the guy loves his car.

ive seen heaps of nelson racing videos and that engine was the most powerful he has ever done.
i think he has built over 50 engines that have pushed around 1800fwhp and never gone over 30psi i think (not 100% on that)
lets just hope that this guy can build a drag car to run the best possible times using that donk.

ill be looking out for more info on this one.

According to the video it is for a new Drag/Race Car... Is Craig on the forums?? Would be nice to get some comment/info/updates from him :) :headbang::thumbsup:
